Summer Bay never stands still, and next week (29 September – 3 October) promises emotional farewells, fractured friendships, and new beginnings that will rock the Bay to its core. 1. Irene’s farewell comes sooner than expected

The countdown begins as Irene’s loved ones scramble to prepare a send-off just three days away. John is devastated at the thought of losing his closest confidante, but Dana encourages him to channel his heartbreak into a heartfelt farewell speech. Meanwhile, Harper and Dana face the sudden challenge of finding a new place to live.

2. Harper moves in with Tane

Dana notices Harper and Tane’s bond warming and pushes for Harper (and Archie) to move in with him. Harper agrees, but doubts soon creep in as the arrangement proves more complicated than she expected.

3. Remy banned from driving

After his drunk-driving arrest, Remy is slapped with a three-month license suspension. Eden is furious and pours away his alcohol stash — but Remy defies her and orders more, spiraling further into self-destruction.

4. Irene writes goodbye letters

With Justin organizing her farewell party, Irene takes time to write personal notes for those closest to her. Leah shares a touching moment with her, while John’s absence from the party weighs heavily. Will he make it in time?

5. Remy walks out of Summer Bay

Unable to cope with Brie’s criticism over his reckless actions, Remy decides to leave town altogether. Packing his bags, he admits he may never return.
