about how the story arc will conclude… but it won’t wrap up before some unexpected twists and turns play out.

While the drama is bound to end with some variation of history repeating itself for Sharon, it’s not going to be as cut and dried as the blonde, or her ex-husband Nick, simply doing away with the villain yet again.In a recent chat with Soap Opera Digest, Sharon Case teased

 

 

that there is more in store for the audience than they may be expecting. She previewed, “It turns in a way that you wouldn’t think. And then just when you think you’ve gotten ahold of that and that you get the storyline, it twists again.”Indeed, with Noah’s affair with Matt’s wife,

 

 

Sienna, tied into the mix, things are bound to be more complicated for “Shick,” than they were in the past when it was just the two of them contending with the madman. Now, they’re protecting their child as well… which means they may need some help.Happily, it sounds like

 

 

 

they may get the assistance they need, as Case revealed that someone else, almost certainly another blast from the past, will figure into the plot at some point. She mused, “I think the audience won’t be able to guess who comes into the story next…”

 

 

 

If our hunch is correct, it may be none other than Matt’s high school girlfriend, Amy Wilson (then played by Julianne Morris) who will turn up to throw a huge monkey wrench into Clark’s nefarious plans. As Young & Restless lifers will recall, Matt once raped Amy, who later shot him in retaliation.

Should Amy reappear in the midst of Matt’s latest reign of terror it would certainly signal the beginning of the end for the villain they all believed to be dead and gone. She would have no trouble helping to confirm his identity or making a case to put him back behind bars for life.

As Nick will warn the cops, this can only end one of two ways: With Matt dead or back in prison for life!
