We knew there had to be more to Audra and Holden’s secret than just stealing a half mill, after all, most of the residents of Genoa City have done far worse and walked away free, not to mention with their reputations intact (or they’ve been redeemed, at least). So, we weren’t exactly surprised when the rest of the story came to light.It turned out that the handsy guy came looking for Audra and took a swing at

 

 

Holden when he intervened to protect her. Holden, naturally, slugged the creep, who fell to the floor. After a gratuitous embrace, however, the pair noticed that louse hadn’t moaned, groaned, or otherwise made a move. To their horror, their was also a pool of blood spreading around the head of the eerily still man.

 

 

 

Much like Mariah’s story, which just came before this, the man may or may not have actually died. That remains to be seen. Which sets up one of two scenarios coming down the pike for Audra: Either he didn’t perish and will show up in Genoa City seeking vengeance or he did die and she and Holden are going to be accused of not only of grand larceny, but also of murder.

 

 

 

In Audra’s last exchange with Holden, he alluded to having covered his tracks, and warned that if she went down, he would not go down with her. That strongly suggests that Audra will be the only one in dire straits when the truth comes out.

Audra, whose only friend in town is Sally, CEO of the very outlet that may publish her secret (remember, Claire gave Billy the heads-up on Charles’ past), could find herself facing the music entirely alone… or not.
