While Billy deals with family worries, things in Genoa City are getting messy fast. Victor (Eric Braeden) is officially striking back at Cane (Billy Flynn), and he’s going straight for where it hurts. Call it revenge, call it payback — either way, Victor clearly hasn’t forgotten what Cane did to him and the Newman family.

Victor’s plan is already moving forward, but Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) isn’t totally on board. She’s especially worried about Lily (Christel Khalil) and the twins. Nikki can handle Victor going after Cane, but she doesn’t want Lily or the kids to get hurt. As far as she’s concerned, that’s a hard no.The good news? Victor doesn’t seem to be planning any real harm. Instead, he’s cooking up a fake kidnapping scheme meant to scare Cane and throw him completely off balance. It’s classic Victor — bold, risky, and walking a very fine line. Whether it works or blows up in his face is another story.

Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) have something to smile about. Spoilers tease that the two will be celebrating a win, and it may be as simple as Victor being distracted.

With his focus locked on reclaiming his family’s company, Jabot isn’t at the top of his hit list right now. For the Abbotts, that alone might feel like a victory worth celebrating.
