Yellowstone star pays tribute to “epic” show with filming update
”Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity and grace,” said Chris McCarthy,
Paramount Global co-CEO and the president and CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios. “She is the perfect anchor to the
newest chapter of the Yellowstone universe, The Madison, from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan.”

The Madison will be the third spin-off in the Yellowstone universe following 1883 and 1923, with the main show set to conclude later this year with its fifth season. The production has been delayed several times, with lead star Kevin Costner departing the show.
Costner, who recently starred in and directed Horizon: An American Saga, recently shared a post on Instagram to reiterate that he wouldn’t be returning to the show for its final run of episodes.

“I just wanna reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half of working on Horizon, doing all of the things that’s required, and thinking about Yellowstone – that beloved series that I love, that I know you love – I just realised that I’m not going to be able to continue season 5B or into the future,” he said.

“It was something that really changed me. I loved it, and I know you loved it. And I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be returning. And I love the relationship that we’ve been able to develop, and I’ll see you at the movies.”
