Kelly Reilly and Rafe Spall are confronting a community haunted by secrets in Under Salt Marsh, the new Sky crime series that launches January 30.

Yellowstone star Reilly is Jackie Ellis and Spall is Detective Eric Bull in the show, which begins with Ellis making a shocking discovery that

reopens the wounds of a three-year-old cold case which cost her both her career and her family’s trust. Forced to reunite with her estranged police partner Eric Bull (Spall), Jackie is drawn back into an investigation that will shake Morfa Halen to its core. Together, they must confront a community haunted by secrets.

 

 

The show is the latest big-budget original from Sky and comes with a splashy cast including Jonathan Pryce, with Reilly having wowed in the U.S. after starring as Beth Dutton opposite Kevin Costner across six years in Yellowstone.

 

 

Other Under Salt Marsh cast includes Naomi Yang (Chimerica), Dinita Gohil (Treason), Brian Gleeson (Bad Sisters), Kimberley Nixon (Fresh Meat) and Harry Lawtey (Industry).

 

 

The show is produced by Little Door Productions in association with Sky Studios. The production received support from the Welsh Government via Creative Wales. The series is written by Claire Oakley, Jonathan Harbottle (Episodes 3 & 5) and Nikita Lalwani (Episode 4). The lead director is Oakley, with Mary Nighy directing Episodes 3 and 4.
