Yellowstone prequel 1923 releases season 2 teaser trailer
1923, the prequel to Yellowstone, has unveiled a teaser trailer for its second and final season.
The Paramount+ show, which also serves as a sequel to 1883, follows Cara (Helen Mirren) and Jacob (Harrison Ford) Dutton as they negotiate the Prohibition era and the Great Depression.

Following a successful run in late 2022 and early 2023, it was announced that the second season would be the show’s last, with fans having to wait two years before its premiere on February 23, 2025.
Though there is still a little wait, fans can tide themselves over with the release of a teaser trailer, with the clip showing Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) continuing his journey home as his family comes under siege.
The trailer also offers a glimpse at other characters such as Banner Creighton (Jerome Flynn) and Donald Whitfield (Timothy Dalton), with Cara and Jacob being shown getting their hands dirty as they protect their home and “way of life.”

Sklenar, who recently starred in It Ends With Us, previously spoke about the second season of the show, sharing with The Hollywood Reporter that there would be a “shift in tone” for the upcoming batch of episodes.
“All I know about part two is that I’m certain there’s going to be a shift in the tone, just for Spencer and the show itself,” he said. “The stakes all around have been raised to a new level, and the pain and the guilt that he’s carrying into this next part is going to shape him into a version of himself that we haven’t seen yet.”
In a separate interview with Fox News, the star also expressed his excitement at finally being able to film alongside Mirren and Ford, sharing: “I haven’t gotten to act with them yet. I will in the last eight episodes that we’re about to start… It’s happening, and I’m stoked, I’m excited.”
