Yellowstone International Film Festival 2025: Caravan, Aisha Can’t Fly, 100 Sunset and more to be screened in Mumbai
The Yellowstone International Film Festival (YIFF) is all set to return to Mumbai from November 13 to 20 and has unveiled its impressive 2025 lineup, which honours diversity around the world, individualism, and bold storytelling.
This year’s edition promises a cinematic feast that transcends continents and cultures, with over 100 films and over 50 premieres in India and Asia.

However, several well-known international films are making their Indian debuts, such as Zuzana Kirchnerová’s Caravan, Maja Ajmia Zellama’s Têtes Brûlées, Zeshaan Younus’ I’ve Seen All I Need to See, Ivona Juka’s Beautiful Evening, Beautiful Day, and Morad Mostafa’s Aisha Can’t Fly.
The Asian premieres of Raintolk and Andres Maimik’s Aurora, Nathan Hertz’s Thinestra, and Kusang Kyirong’s 100 Sunset will all add to the excitement.
Founder of YIFF, Tushar Tyagi, reflected on the premiere and said, “Cinema speaks a language everyone understands.” He added, “This year’s lineup celebrates that universality with stories that connect, challenge, and inspire.”
In keeping with the changing language of Indian independent cinema, YIFF 2025 will also feature the Indian premieres of Chewing Gum by Abhay Sharma and Kaisi Yeh Paheli by Ananyabrata Chakravorty, both of which will support indigenous voices.
The world premiere of Manjeet Sarkar and Mike Noone’s Untouchable: Laughing Out Caste, Arushi Nigam’s Dream Factory, and Patrick Shannon’s Saints and Warriors are highlights of the documentary lineup.
International award winners I’m Glad You’re Dead Now (Cannes), Across the Waters and DISC by Viv Li, and I Fear Blue Skies (TIFF) are featured in the short film segment.
YIFF 2025 promises to be a colourful celebration of tales that transform our perception of the world, with parallel sessions at Gaysi, Veda Kunba, and Veda Blackbox and screenings at PVR Dynamix and Juhu.
