Will 2026 be the Year of Shick? Joshua Morrow sat down with us to chat about Nick and Sharon’s future, and you might be surprised by what he had to say! #YR #Shick
There’s good news and bad news for Young & Restless fans who consider Nick and Sharon endgame. First the good news: Joshua Morrow tells Soaps.com that “these two have certainly and very slowly been working towards a reunion.” So what’s the bad news? “This situation with Matt Clark forces them to unfortunately slow that down some.

“It’s not just about them getting closer now, it’s about actual, legitimate fear for their son,” he continues. “That has removed some of those moments that the audience had been watching lately [where the former marrieds] were being drawn back together]. But obviously, anybody who knows anything about soap operas knows that these two are clearly on a path to that happening.”

That said, Morrow has a message for the audience, a request of sorts… for patience. “For the ‘Shick’ fans who are clamoring for this to happen, we’re gonna need a little time, because right now, the focus is keeping the family safe and ridding it of this monster.”
Of course, Nick and Sharon have tried to reunite in the past. What makes this go-round different? “They’ve had some incredible ups and downs,” Morrow marvels. “They’ve been hit with everything under the sun from a problem standpoint. This most recent evolution of them is just co-parenting and being people that each other can rely on.”
