The newest developments in Jack and Victor’s legendary feud have led viewers to a precipice… a tease, if you will, that they may get to see something unfold that has been an ask for years. What in the Young & Restless are we referring to? Keep reading to find out.
Through the years, fans have expressed fatigue and even boredom over the business stories involving Victor because he always wins. It’s tough to invest in a story or get too excited when you can guess the outcome right from the start, to be fair.
Some viewers had high hopes when Cane arrived back on the scene with an empire, spouting threats and sporting an ominous tech program that could ravage any company of his choosing and leave it devalued so he could snap it up for pennies on the dollar.

As Young & Restless lore tells us on a regular basis, Victor is always ten steps ahead of his opponents, so something pretty much unprecedented has already occurred. But… there’s potential for a development even more unexpected.
With Jack so desperate to save his family’s company that he’s sent Billy to try and cut a deal with Phyllis, of all people, things have taken an interesting turn. Why? Because at the very moment that was decided, Phyllis was confronting Victor, having realized belatedly that he was, of course, going to shaft her.

Either Victor never planned to hold up his end of the deal with Red once he got the AI, or he thought he’d have the last laugh by handing her a Jabot that was worthless. Dare we say it, but either way, this seems like an error in judgement on his part given that Phyllis is apparently the one person with the ability to hack in and steal the AI.
