Adam and Chelsea have been like two peas in a pod of late, but cracks might be a’ comin’ for the Young & Restless couple if Melissa Claire Egan’s unexpected reveal is anything to go by!

Though Chelsea was visibly upset when Adam and Victor went behind her back to launch a Jack attack the night of the Abbott Communications party, her love managed to smooth things over by claiming the situation was a one-off and reminding her that he was pulled away at the last minute.

Working together may come with periodic struggles, but that’s not the only challenge for “Chadam.” Reference has been made, more than once, to Connor experiencing setbacks with his OCD. At this point, the watchful parents are assuring family members that difficulties are minor, but as we know all too well, nothing happens on soaps without a reason. There’s an excellent chance “minor” will become “major”… and the stress could negatively affect Chelsea and Adam’s relationship.

Why are we so suspicious that something’s about to go awry in “Chadam’s” current coupling? Well, Melissa Claire Egan’s revealing Instagram post got us to thinking. As you’ll see in the clip below, Egan transformed her look. What does that have to do with her onscreen pairing?
