makes them all the more “purr-fect.” And one of soaps’ most-recognized stars just teased a big one coming up featuring her new kitty Cashmere.

 

 

The Young and the Restless’ Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) took to her official Instagram to post a photo alongside two of her friends as she announced, “So excited for you to see today’s photoshoot with the amazing Jeremy Fraser! Let’s just say it was purr-fect.”

The CBS soap vet also included the hashtag “Cashmere close-up,” and Fraser posted a story to his social media page and added, “We shoot almost every year but never remember to document it with a selfie. Not pictured, the star, Cashmere. Always a fun time with Melody Thomas Scott and Claudine Battisti.”

 

 

And if you haven’t met Cashmere, back in October we passed along the news that Scott had rescued a beautiful gray kitty that had shown up on her property. “This is our newest member of the family,” she had stated then went on to explain, “She found her way into our backyard — so fragile, so weak, so hungry. She is now such a special part of our lives. We named her Cashmere because of her beauty. We love forever!”
