For starters, Diane will meet with Michael and pump him for more information on the latest Newman Enterprises fiasco.

Since Michael is back on Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) good side, Diane will assume he’s got the scoop.

Whether Michael spills anything to Diane or not, she already knows Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have gone after Victor.

Although Diane is pleased about Victor taking a serious hit, Michael may remind her that Victor has a knack for coming out on top.

Things may look bleak for now due to the AI program situation, but Michael may predict Victor will come roaring back.

Over with Noah, he’ll discover some news related to Matt that stuns him on Friday’s Y&R episode.

Matt is currently in the Abbotts’ custody, so Noah may get updates on that and the failed Victor deal.

Of course, it’s also possible Matt could give the Abbotts the slip, but Victor is having him closely monitored, too.

Even if Matt could get away from the Abbott security team, Victor’s own team is waiting nearby as an insurance policy.

Even so, Nick can’t rest until Matt is either in a prison cell or buried in a grave. That’s why Nick will meet with Jack on Friday’s show and deliver a powerful plea.

Nick will presumably seek Jack’s assistance to end this Matt mess once and for all.

Although Victor wasn’t able to reach an agreement with Jack, Nick may push him to surrender Matt anyway.
