The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a raft of new characters and plots are coming aboard the Y&R train. You know, the

one that recast Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is living in like a hobo somewhere on the GC the train tracks.

We start there because Ashby’s return has wrought all sorts of changes. First off, the show pulled a two-fer when they killed off Connor

 

 

Floyd as Chance Chancellor and now he’s portraying Flynn’s former role of Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives. There’s more change coming so let’s take a peek at what to expect.

Emmy winner Tamara Braun (ex Days of Our Lives, Ava Vitali, All My Children, Reese Williams, General Hospital, Carly Spencer) joins the cast as Sienna Bacall. What we know is that she is connected to a few GC players, and we wouldn’t doubt that Cane is one of them.

It wouldn’t surprise us if Sienna is a lady from Cane’s past. In case you took the summer off, Cane has reinvented himself as a non-accented bogul.

 

 

He spent the last six years away from GC and building an empire. Everyone hates him and it’s no surprise he thinks someone is out to kill him.

Roger Howarth Debuts
But wait, there’s more! Emmy winner Roger Howarth is coming on board as a mysterious figure. Maybe as someone else from Cane’s past who wants to even the score?

Like Braun, Howarth is a daytime vet and has appeared on numerous soaps including Loving, As the World Turns, One Life to Live, and General Hospital.

Then again, Howarth may be a recast of Tucker McCall (ex Trevor St. John) and that would be a hoot since McCall replaced Howarth as Todd Manning on One Life to Live.

Lucas Adams Recast
The Young & Restless has cast Lucas Adams (ex Tripp, Days of Our Lives) in the role of legacy character Noah Newman. He takes over from Rory Gibson who is now playing Michael Quartermaine on General Hospital.

Noah and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) were once an item and she’s been chewing up GC for the past several years without him. Now that he’s back, will these two reunite?
