In what will be the first-ever crossover event between CBS daytime soap operas, The Bold and the Beautiful and Beyond the Gates, look for two-time Daytime Emmy winner to appear in story as Ridge Forrester.

As part of the fall preview released by CBS for their daytime programming line-up, they teased that the BTG character’s of, “Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Andre Richardson’s (Sean Freeman) impromptu trip together leads to shocking revelations and directs Dani toward a promising connection with Ridge Forrester in a crossover with The Bold and the Beautiful.”

The upcoming episode will mark Beyond the Gates‘ second crossover with one of its fellow CBS soaps. In August, The Young and the Restless Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) came to Fairmont Crest with a musical proposition for Anita (Tamara Tunie) to restart her solo singing career after the success of the one-night only reunion concert with The Articulettes.

While Beyond the Gates is continuing its freshman season, The Bold and the Beautiful kicks-off its 39th season on Monday, September 15th, the network revealed.

Other stories to watch for this fall on Beyond the Gates include: Anita and Vernon’s (Clifton Davis) marriage may not be on solid footing. Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) unexpectedly find themselves on opposite sides of a major marital dilemma. Jacob’s brother Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) hits town and immediately establishes two complicated relationships amidst his own family drama while Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) and Ashley’s (Jen Jacob) worlds come crashing down around them as lies and the death of a loved one changes everything.

Meanwhile, Thorsten Kaye had played The Bold and the Beautiful’s Ridge Forrester since 2013 having taken over the role from Ronn Moss. Kaye has won two consecutive Daytime Emmys in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category in 2023 and 2024.
