The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Tuesday, December 23, indicates that Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras) and Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick) revealed some shocking Santa wish lists while Eric Forrester (John McCook) got ready to show off a secret design.

At Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) worried about Eric following his retirement before they headed over to the Forrester estate.

Next on Tuesday’s B&B episode, the Forrester mansion was all decked out for the holidays, but Eric’s heart clearly wasn’t in it this year.

Donna Logan Forrester (Jenifer Gareis) offered a pep talk and remained hopeful since Eric always brought the spirit of Christmas.

By the time Ridge and Brooke showed up, Eric had vanished.

Donna hinted about Eric having a hard time since his retirement and not being very into the holidays as a result.

At Forrester Creations, Eric visited the showroom before brooding in the CEO office.

After Eric recalled clashing with Ridge recently, he also thought back to his earlier days at the company.

Once Ridge arrived, he said he knew he’d find Eric there.

Although Eric was no longer leading Forrester Creations, Ridge assured his dad that he remained the head of the family and was loved.

After Ridge finished his supportive speech and gave his father a hug, Eric returned to the showroom alone.

Once Eric approached a garment bag and hinted about it being the greatest design of his life, he declared that everyone would see it tomorrow.

At the cliff house, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) kissed Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) under the mistletoe before Hayes and Kelly appeared.

Kelly and Hayes wanted to bake cookies for the Christmas Eve gathering at Eric’s place.

Finn and Steffy also shared some laughs with the kids as they reminisced over some old holiday decorations they had made.

Steffy voiced concerns to Finn about Eric while they waited on Hayes and Kelly to finish their letters to Santa.

Once Kelly and Hayes revealed their lists, they revealed that they had enough toys and wanted to give their presents to kids at the mission this year.

That news warmed Finn and Steffy’s hearts.
