Dani (Karla Mosley) and Andre (Sean Freeman) are interrupted by two surprise guests. Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) shocks Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) with big news. Lynette (Dominique Madison) implements a new scheme that has Hayley (Marquita Goings) right where she wants her. Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) opens up to Ashley (Jen Jacob) about the mysterious call he received. Jan (Jerri Tubbs) tries to broker peace between Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) and Derek (Ben Gavin).

Bill vents to Dani about their daughter, but clashes with Andre in the process. Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Ashley tend to an injured old friend. Jacob (Jibre Hordges) is tasked with a dangerous assignment while Smitty (Mike Manning) gets a lead on the case from June (Jasmine Burke). Madison (Kenjah McNeil) makes another life-changing decision. Anita (Tamra Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) receive wonderful news.

Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Kial’s (Greg Vaughan) steamy date is interrupted by Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley). Bill worries Hayley’s had a setback as Chelsea thinks Hamilton history may be repeating itself. Anita and Vernon teach Samantha (Najah Jackson), Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller) and Jessica (Camryn Jade) a lesson, while Anastasia (Timeca Seretti) stirs the pot.

Leslie seeks guidance from Joey (Jon Lindstrom) on a personal matter. Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) does her best to assuage Nicole’s guilt. Randy’s (Maurice P. Kerry) not happy with Hayley’s update. Ted (Keith D.Robinson) gets an earful from his ex while Shanice (Ernestine Johnson Morrison) puts Carlton in his place.
