Taylor Sheridan’s $84.9 Million Neo-Western Surges on Streaming As ‘Landman’ Comes to an End
Taylor Sheridan just wrapped up the second season of Landman, but fans aren’t ready to say goodbye to his work just yet. This has led
people around the world to flock to Sicario, his 2015 neo-Western classic, which has propelled it into the Apple TV global VOD top 10 in
more than 10 countries around the world. Sicario stars Josh Brolin (Weapons) and Emily Blunt (The Smashing Machine), and it’s currently streaming on Peacock in America. For those without a Peacock subscription in America, it can easily be rented or purchased on other VOD platforms like Prime Video in America.

Taylor Sheridan made his feature screenwriting debut on Sicario, and it’s still viewed to this day as some of his finest work. The film earned strong marks of 91% from critics and 85% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, both of which are higher than the sequel. Denis Villeneuve directed the film, and it kicked off a run of hits for the director, including Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, and both Dune movies. He’s also directing the next James Bond movie at Amazon.
Just last week, Paramount released the first batch of official images from The Madison, the Yellowstone sequel series starring Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer. The studio also announced that the show will premiere on March 14, and better yet, it’s already been renewed for a second season. It’s not the only Yellowstone offshoot coming soon, either. Marshals, formerly titled Y: Marshals, will be released two weeks earlier on March 1. The show follows ex-Navy SEAL Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) after he leaves the Yellowstone ranch to join the U.S. Marshals.
