Taylor Sheridan Had A Very Good Reason For Writing Every Yellowstone Episode
As the creator of Paramount’s hit neo-Western series “Yellowstone,” Taylor Sheridan has developed a reputation for being the sole creative
force behind his own projects. In fact, Sheridan has shut down the idea of working with writers’ rooms in the past, namely on his most
popular Dutton drama. It’s no secret that Sheridan pens most of his shows by himself, but the reason makes sense when you hear it.”We tried to put a room together, and there was no time to put a room together,” Sheridan told director Peter Berg in a conversation recorded by Gold Derby. “So,…

Yellowstone star Kelly Reilly has opened up about the “emotional” experience of returning home to the UK for her latest project.
Since 2018, the British actress has played Beth Dutton, the formidable banker and daughter of powerful ranch owner John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), across five seasons of Taylor Sheridan’s hit Paramount drama.
She’ll soon be reprising the role in the upcoming spin-off, The Dutton Ranch, which will follow Beth and her husband Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) continuing to defend their family’s legacy following John’s death.
In the meantime, Reilly will be returning to screens sooner than expected as she has taken on a brand new role in a dark, gripping murder mystery series on Sky.
The new Welsh thriller Under Salt Marsh sees the Yellowstone actress portray Jackie, a teacher and former detective who teams up with her ex-partner to investigate the disturbing death of one of her eight year old pupils, reports the Express.
Also starring Rafe Spall and Jonathan Pryce, the haunting investigation uncovers a cold case involving Jackie from three years earlier that could somehow be linked.

Set in the fictional town of Morfa Halen and filmed around the Welsh coastline from October 2024-February 2025, Reilly felt a stark contrast in her new surroundings compared to what has been her second home for more than half a decade.
“You’re immersed in the place, in the land, and it can’t help but have an effect on you,” she told the Radio Times. “You feel the energy of it.”
The forthcoming series, set to debut on Sky at the end of January, required Reilly to immerse herself in icy waters for a harrowing scene where Jackie stumbles upon the body of a young victim.
Despite the chilling temperatures and torrential rainstorms that play a pivotal role in setting the tone and plot of Under Salt Marsh, the actress remained undeterred and fully committed to the new challenge.
“I’ve been filming in Montana for years and years,” she shared. “And then I get to go film in these mountains in Britain. And it was really quite an emotional thing.”
She continued: “I have a real love for north Wales from when I was a kid. We used to go there on holidays, and when I was in primary school, I had this wonderful head teacher who took us on a school trip to climb Mount Snowdon.”
“It was so formative for me. You give yourself over to something greater and you feel humbled by nature and in awe of its beauty. The thrill of insignificance.”
Prepare to witness a fresh facet of Reilly’s acting prowess when the new thriller graces our screens in less than a fortnight.
Also, stay tuned for updates on her eagerly awaited return to Yellowstone, scheduled for later this year.
