Corriedale plot, air date and full cast list for Coronation Street and Emmerdale crossover
Corriedale – a crossover between the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale – is set to air in just a few weeks’ time amid shocking twists and turns in the hour long episode

Corriedale will see the worlds of Emmerdale and Coronation Street collide for the first time. The ITV soaps are coming together for a very special episode, which all begins with a shocking car crash.
For the first time, we now know who exactly is involved in the ITV soap crossover episode from both Coronation Street and Emmerdale and what will happen – with many lives at risk.
The plot for the big crossover episode is being kept a closely guarded secret but teaser trailers have revealed more about what will happen in the big soap episode, including a deadly car crash.
At least 19 Emmerdale and Coronation Street characters will be caught up in the devastating stunt, with David Platt actor Jack P Shepherd hinting that more than one character will die in shocking scenes.
The crash on a country road near the village of Hotten causes chaos for both the residents of Coronation Street and the Dales. A teaser for the episode reveals: “But what has brought the residents of Weatherfield across the Pennines to Yorkshire, and how have the characters from the two soaps ended up in a catastrophic collision?”
Air date
It has been confirmed that Corriedale will air on January 5th 2026 in an hour long episode. It will air on the Monday 5th to celebrate the new format change for the soaps going forward on ITV.
Emmerdale will air at 7pm for half an hour and Coronation Street will air for half an hour at 7.30pm. These episodes will be available on ITVX earlier in the day as usual. Corriedale will air live on ITV1 and ITVX from 8pm for an hour.
