EastEnders has revealed a new conflict for Junior Knight next month, ahead of his upcoming exit from the soap. This week, it was confirmed that actor Micah Balfour was bowing out of his role as Junior, after making his first appearance on the show back in May 2024.

Junior’s biggest storyline has been his scandalous affair with Cindy, his dad George’s ex-wife, with their betrayal being made public in spectacular fashion in The Vic on Christmas Day.

While Junior hasn’t been seen much on screen in recent months, next week he gets pulled into Kojo’s harrowing ordeal, with Teddy telling him and George about what’s been going on in the flat.

New spoilers released by the BBC reveal that later next month, “tensions rise between Junior and George”. We know that things have been far from plain sailing for the father and son over the last 18 months, but it’s not known why they find themselves at odds this time.

Later, George attempts to make amends with someone – is he trying to repair his relationship with Junior, and is it too late?

It looks set to be a dramatic week for Kojo, Harry and Ravi, as “a situation escalates” on Tuesday, 11 November that could spell trouble for all three characters.

Next week, Kojo attempts to help Harry escape Okie’s clutches, but will their plan be a success, and what unfolds later in the month?

Meanwhile, Nigel’s fate has remained up in the air since he confessed to causing the car crash that injured both Gina and Jasmine earlier this month.

On Monday, 10 November, Nigel “awaits a verdict”, so it seems that he will finally discover what the future holds for him. Will he face consequences for the incident?
