Well, we’re finally here. It’s November and that means that Days of Our Lives big 60th anniversary celebration is about to air! The Tom

Horton Free Clinic will open with a big gala bringing back a slew of Salem favorites — and that includes Alison Sweeney’s Sami. (And

brother Eric, even though Greg Vaughan has joined Beyond the Gates.)

 

 

On top of that, though, Swoon is reporting that Sami will come back with some huge news: She’s engaged! As to who she’s engaged to, well, that’s a great question!

 

 

We haven’t heard anything from Lucas for some time, so magic could be happening offscreen. But no matter how much growth Sami’s done, it feels like a bit of a stretch for her to forgive and reunite with the man who kidnapped her and held her hostage for months.

 

 

Outside of Lucas is EJ, of course, but we know it’s not him. (Unless Days of Our Lives is really keeping it under wraps.) Nor would it be Austin, who’s still with Carrie. Rafe, though… the two did reconnect during her last visit and almost ran off together! We know he’s a super secret FBI agent now, but keeping an entire relationship with Sami a secret seems like it would be a stretch!

 

 

About the only name from Sami’s past that we could imagine it being is Brandon Walker — Nicole’s half-brother and Abe’s son!

Brandon always seemed to love Sami a bit more than she loved him back, seeing as how he wasn’t named “EJ” or “Lucas,” but it might be a sweet return. But would Abe be so out of the loop about Brandon’s life that he wouldn’t know anything about a reunion with Sami? It’s not impossible, but it would certainly be a shock!

Sweeney herself shared the news asking for the fans to weight in with wrong answers only! And boy the answers didn’t disappoint!
