At Forrester, someone unseen walks around. He stops into the design office, where two interns gush, “He’s back.” In the main office, he finds no one is present, so he opens the door to the showroom… where Brooke and Ridge are making out. He clears his throat…

The startle when they see that RJ is home and rush over to greet him. They go over how much he’s surprised them. Brooke wants her son to tell her he’s going to stay.

 

 

RJ teases that he’s not one to make permanent plans. He has no big trips planned for the near future… is that good enough for now? Brooke will take it. RJ reveals that one of the reasons he came back was to see them back together for himself. They assure him they’re extremely happy.

As they discuss RJ’s travels, Brooke remarks on all the lady friends he made. RJ demurs that Italy was very fun. When RJ brings up Ridge rescuing Brooke from the sea, they flash back to the boat mishap. He thanks his dad for saving his mom.

At Logan, Katie can’t believe that Eric wants to help her launch her company. Eric chortles, “Let’s share the runway!”

She worries about pitting him against Ridge or Brooke thinking she poached him from Forrester. Eric reminds her he no longer works there. He needs this; the excitement of starting a fashion house from the ground up. “Do you want to do this?” Of course, she does! They embrace.

Brooke and Ridge get to work trying to convince RJ to join the team and do some designing. He isn’t keen to step on toes. Ridge wants him on couture with him. RJ thinks it could be great and will consider it. He wishes his granddad could be part of it though… he can’t believe he retired.

Ridge concedes it wasn’t entirely his idea. Brooke interjects that he was told he could come back, but chose not to… it’s Ridge’s time. RJ’s glad he’s getting a chance to “chill”. They do a group hug.

At Logan, Katie will get Eric a contract from Bill. Eric isn’t ready for a long-term commitment yet, but she hopes he’ll change his mind after their first collection.
