Phyllis and Cane Take Full Control of Newman — and Mariah Kidnaps Dominic
Phyllis and Cane burst into Victor’s office at Newman and inform him that they/Arabesque are now the majority shareholder in the company. Everything is theirs now.
They heckle the Mustache as Cane points out that Victor tried to take everything from him because he wasn’t scared of him and didn’t bow
down to him. Phyllis trusted Victor and believed him, but now she’s on top. Victor warns her fall will be a pleasure to watch. She taunts that

he has nothing left to fight with. He intones, “Oh yeah? You’d be surprised.”Nikki and Victoria arrive and get into it with Cane and Phyllis, who suggests they have security throw them out. She rants about them exploiting everyone. Victoria gets in Phyllis’ face… when has she ever earned anything? Phyllis mocks that her daddy has signed her paychecks her whole life.
When she brings Nikki into it, Victoria orders the redhead to deal with her. Phyllis says her father is a monster and they’re sheep. Vikki counters that everything Phyllis has ever had was handed to her by a man. Phyllis threatens to throw her out and Victor barks, “Enough!”
Billy enters the Club and joins Sally, who asks point blank if he’s going to take Cane up on his offer or not. Billy confirms he’s going to go for it. Sally expresses her frustration for the millionth time. She feels they’re too far apart.
Sally breaks the news that she called Jill. Billy’s irked that she contacted his mother to tell her he was potentially leaving the company. Sally was worried about the funding, but she couldn’t speak to her. His Uncle Snapper told her Jill has taken a turn for the worse.
Billy questions how serious it is given no one called him, but if Snapper’s answering the phone, this must be different. Sally laments that they’re both so stubborn. If he cares about Jill he needs to tell her… then maybe he won’t need Chancellor to fill the hole in his heart.Adam enters as Sally walks off in a huff, declining to stop and tell him what’s wrong. Adam storms over to Billy. “What the hell did you do to Sally this time?!”
Billy stands and they trade insults nose-to-nose. Adam tells Billy he’ll never deserve Sally, warns he won’t be at Chancellor long and heads to the bar. Right then, he gets a text that Lily and her children have been located. “Advise next steps.”
At the Chancellor mansion, Devon and Abby fuss over Dom after bringing him in from outside. He heads up to his room. As he goes upstairs, Mariah watches from outside the front door.Mariah flashes to struggling with her attachment to Dom after he was born. She tells Ian that Dom was with his parents. She can’t shatter another family the way she’s shattered her own. They argue as Mariah proposes just taking Aria instead.
Ian says she only wanted Aria because she missed Dom, who came from her flesh. Mariah rails, “Stop it!” but Ian persists, pressing her to go back to the moment she lost her way. She flashes to saying goodbye to infant Dom.
Ian asks, “Don’t you want to be whole again?” Mariah argues that Abby and Devon will never stop looking. Ian intones, “They don’t have me.” They’ll go somewhere they’ll never be found again.
Back at the Chancellor estate, Abby updates Devon that Victoria’s told her it’s over… Cane and Phyllis have control of everything. Devon can’t get over this and crabs about Billy getting his hooks back into Chancellor. Abby suggests they focus on Cane and Phyllis. Devon sighs, “How does Cane control Newman?” Abby insists her family will fight back… and they’ll make it hurt.
Dom reappears and they all decide to go outside. Abby takes Dom off to get winter clothing as Devon checks his phone. At that moment, in the motel, Ian convinces Mariah to go through with their plan. “It’s time,” she agrees.
Cane and the Newmans
Back at Newman, Cane tells Victor he has a week to vacate the building. Victor calls him a punk and refuses to even say Phyllis’ name. “Now get the hell out,” he rages.
On the Cane train, Ashby and Phyllis pour the bubbly and banter as he warns her not to try and pull anything on him. Phyllis, convinced nothing can go wrong at this point, is turned on from all the winning. She moves in for some kissing as Cane grabs her by he nape of the neck.
Victor, Adam, Nikki and Victoria are back at the ranch when Michael arrives to report that the AI made it look like everything was transferred correctly with Victor’s signatures on everything. Victor asks Adam, “Did you do as I asked?” Adam nods, “It’s all good.” Nikki demands to know what they’re up to.
At the outdoor café, Billy waits for a text from Cane, and stares at Jill’s number on his phone. He flashes back to Jill telling him how much he was wanted, while admitting she wasn’t always there for him. He’s a much better parent than she was. Picking up his phone, Billy dials her number. When she answers, he touchingly calls her “mom,” and asks, “Are you going to be OK?”
At the Chancellor manse, Abby rejoins Devon and asks if Dom came in there. Devon says he didn’t. She went to get a bucket and he had gone. As she goes off to look, the camera pans to a scarf on the chair that looks suspiciously like the one Mariah had on earlier.
More: Is Summer returning?
At the outdoor café, Billy thanks Jill for the medical update and assures her he’ll come visit when she’s back in fighting form. Sighing, he says, “I know you do. I’ll talk to you soon.” Hanging up, he sits, emotional, and flashes to Jill urging him never to lose the hunger he inherited from her as she suggested that his legacy could be her legacy: Chancellor.
At the Newman ranch, Victor refuses to tell Nikki what he and Adam are up to. He vows to crush Phyllis and Cane. “They will pay. They will really pay… if it’s the last thing I do.”
In bed after sex, Phyllis dozes and Cane pulls out his phone and reads Lily’s last text: “We will never forgive you for this.”
