Reports circulating online alleging that Australian actress Rachael Carpani was murdered and that security cameras captured the crime are false.

In a public statement released by her parents, Tony and Gael Carpani, through her sister, the actress’s death was described as a result of her persistent health issues. Rachael Carpani was best known for her role as Jodi Fountain on McLeod’s Daughters and recently had a recurring role as Claudia Salini on Home and Away.
