Hey, hey, the gang’s (almost) all here. With Theo’s addition, Days of Our Lives’ DiMera crypt is getting crowded — and we know there’s at

least one more “guest” to come this week! But on top of that, Theo just dug up some human bones on Tuesday’s episode. So it looks like they finally found the human remains that we saw teased in the big season promo.

 

 

Granted, that’s what you’d expect to find a crypt, but generally, they’re in alcoves or containers and not under the floor of the crypt! Unless the DiMera undertaker has just been getting lazy. Yes, we assume the DiMeras have their own undertaker. Whose bones are they? Well, we’ll likely have to wait a bit to find out, especially since no one seems to be leaving the crypt anytime soon. But we do have one guess that seems pretty darn solid. They’re Stefano’s!

 

 

So yeah, we know he’s been dead, but the threat of him has been alive for years because his body was never found. He was never laid to rest. Unless of course, all of this is to learn that he was. It wouldn’t explain who put him there, just yet, but it would finally lay to rest the mystery of The Phoenix and the legend of Stefano.

 

 

 

Anyone can put it on and declare themselves The Phoenix, but so far none but Stefano have ever held with any permanence. That might be where this is all heading: Finding Stefano’s true replacement, and a villain worthy of carrying on the title.

Who that is remains to be seen, but chances are, it’s whoever’s actually behind these kidnappings. Because even money says it’s a DiMera. Now all that’s left is to figure out which one.
