At Crimson Lights, Danny and Christine go over their wedding preparations. He teases her about not choosing a dress yet. They kiss and

canoodle and she mentions their bachelor and bachelorette parties. Danny relays that his best man has gone to Boston, but he put Michael in charge.

 

 

As they discuss RSVPs, Phyllis appears and asks, “Did you get mine?” She needles that she’s not invited and wonders why she was the last to know about their wedding. Chris and Phyllis exchange barbs as the redhead complains about the “high-pitched chirping”. Chris hopes she’ll stay away from their wedding and out of their life completely. Phyllis wouldn’t waste her time and can’t understand why Danny’s doing this again.

Christine goes on to Phyllis that she has no idea how to make sacrifices for a successful romance. The redhead makes faces as Danny and Cricket coo at each other and declare they’ll always be there for each other. They’re relieved when she finally leaves.

Tessa tells her she looks beautiful, but Mariah grimaces. Complaining that Mariah hasn’t been outside, she wonders how this place is helping… she seems even worse.Mariah refuses to talk, so Tessa pulls out a deck of cards and yammers away about Aria as she deals. As they play Old Maid, Tessa mentions the song she and Daniel wrote together. Mariah thinks they sound good together. Tessa would like her to hear them perform at the wedding. Mariah replies, “I don’t think that’s going to happen.”Tessa’s heart is breaking seeing her wife so lost. She’s sure this isn’t the right place for her… she’s taking her home. Mariah explains that this is part of the process… digging deep. She’s not leaving until she sees this through. Tessa can’t keep doing this. Mariah nods and tells Tessa she probably shouldn’t come back and visit her again. Tessa pulls Mariah into a tearful embrace that the redhead reluctantly allows.In Los Angeles, Nick and Sharon are at Noah’s bedside, chatting away to his unconscious form and urging him to get better so he can set the world on fire. Nick’s phone rings and he puts Victor, Nikki and Victoria on speakerphone so they can call out messages to Noah. Nick updates them that he has a serious head injury, and they can’t see his faceJust then, a doctor walks in. Sharon asks if their son will survive this. Nick disconnects from his family, and the surgeon asks to speak to them outside. After relocating, the doc tells them Noah has swelling on the brain, and they want to put him into an induced coma. Sharon wails, “Nooo.” This is Cassie all over again!The doctor explains they’re trying to avoid irreversible brain damage and seizures. Nick tells him to do whatever it takes to save their son. As the doc walks off, a nurse brings them Noah’s personal belongings. Sitting, they open the bag and pull out a money clip, his cellphone, wallet, and the watch they gave him for graduation. Nick reads the inscription, and they pray. Nick assures Sharon they’ll get through this.

At the ranch, Nikki and Victor want to head to Los Angeles, but when Nick calls back to update them on Noah’s treatment plan, he simply asks that they find him the best brain specialist in the world. After they disconnect, Victoria tells Nikki that she’ll send Claire to the hospital on the family’s behalf. Nikki doesn’t think Sharon and Nick would be able to come back from losing Noah.

The Final Scenes
At the hospital, Nick and Sharon go over memories of Noah and Cassie when their family was happy and joyful…. look at them now. As Nick urges Sharon not to give up hope, a man appears. He says he’s investigating Noah’s crash. Nick asks, “Are you saying the police may suspect foul play?!”
