January 16, Eric takes what is poised to be a game-changing meeting with Katie. And though she is quick to insist, “I don’t want to pit you against your son,” it sure seems like that’s exactly what’s going to happen. (Side note: We are here for it!)

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Dylan's Confession, Electra's World Shatters Again? - Soap Opera Spy

In fact, no matter the family friction it would cause if Eric jumped ship and took his designs to upstart Logan, “This is what I want,” the Forrester patriarch assures his sister-in-law. Talk about poetic justice, huh? Eric was pushed out of the company that bears his name and will soon be sharing his talent with the fashion house that Brooke doesn’t want bearing her name!

In other developments, it looks as if Daphne is going to accept Carter’s proposal of marriage — and maybe get to work having that child that they both want — as they make love. Executive producer/headwriter Bradley Bell recently teased what was coming up for the star-crossed lovers and a whole lot more. (You can read that preview here.)

After vanishing from the canvas during Carter and Hope’s Forrester coup and most of Luna-gate, R.J. returns to Los Angeles with a new face (which you can see here). Needless to say his folks, Ridge and Brooke, are delighted to see him. Wonder if they will try to tap into his design “genius” to compete with Logan? Or could the novice only sketch fantabulous dresses when he was working in tandem with grandpa Eric? TBD.

Finally, Electra has got to be regretting her friendship with Dylan at this point. She’s already (rightly) sensed that the unhoused co-ed is crushing on Will, and now Steffy is getting involved, promising to help the young woman in any way she possibly can.

Though Deke was recently canned because Thomas had come back to Forrester, there is apparently going to be room for Dylan there. She is thrilled by the prospect of working alongside Electra and Will at Forrester… but Electra? Eh, less so. A little of Dylan goes a long way, and Electra has had a lot of her gal pal.

Hey, don’t go without taking a peek at the new edition of Soaps’ Burning Questions in which we ponder the fate of Il Giardino’s hungry and abandoned customers, the size of Carter’s ego, Taylor’s idea of “privacy” and more.
