Jasmine Fisher finally got some answers on EastEnders, though it remains to be seen who she’s targeting. With the help of Oscar Branning, the newcomer gained access to a locked place, but what is she searching for?

The figure arrived in Walford back in September and got to work at the Prince Albert after impressing Cindy Beale. Oscar took a shine to the confident character, and the pair have been close ever since.

 

 

Despite this, it has become increasingly apparent that Jasmine’s passage into East London wasn’t completely by chance, and that she is actually there with a mission to gain revenge on a mystery individual.

Thursday’s (20 November) instalment of the BBC soap began with Jasmine keeping an eye on Anthony Trueman, with Cindy catching her in the act. Oscar, meanwhile, was being told by Penny to simply enjoy his time with Jasmine.

 

 

Jasmine attempted to get some information regarding Anthony from Oscar, though he explained that he wasn’t held in the best light by the Trueman family given his previous run-in with Patrick.

Jasmine continued to keep an eye on Anthony, and later offered him a free drink as he sat in the bar. This was all a ruse to steal the doctor’s keys, but Oscar spotted her in the act. She made up a lie to cover her tracks, with Oscar none the wiser.

 

 

After the pair got close in the surgery, Jasmine snuck into Anthony’s office and attempted to log into his computer. After finding the password and flicking through the surgeon’s patient records, she remarked: “There you are.”

The newcomer is unrelenting in her mission to gain information, but just who is she targeting? And will she be able to deliver her piece of vengeance before other people in Albert Square find out the truth?

The developments come ahead of a shocking twist next week, with Cindy’s life hanging in the balance after she gets on the wrong side of Jasmine. Some detective work on her new employee lands her in big trouble, with Jasmine pushing her down the stairs.

“Jasmine’s identity has been a huge talking point ever since she rocked up in the Square,” begins our EastEnders spy.

“It’s clear that she’s hiding something big. But this week her true colours really come to the surface, and Cindy could be about to pay the ultimate price.”

EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
