Landman season two has premiered, but who’s back in the cast and who are the new faces in this Paramount+ drama?

Created by Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan, Landman is back for its second series a year after its international debut.

The 10-episode series is set to follow Tommy Norris (played by Billy Bob Thornton), a crisis manager for a Texas oil company, as he navigates the “high stakes and dangerous world of West Texas oil fields”.

 

 

With the first episode of Landman’s second series dropping on Sunday, November 16, here’s everything you need to know about the cast.

At the centre of Landman is “ruthless oil crisis manager Tommy Norris who is not only dedicated to his high-pressure job but also to his role as a father.

Billy Bob Thornton, known for writing, directing and starring in the independent 1996 film Sling Blade, which won him the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, plays Tommy.

 

 

Thornton has also appeared in Goliath, Fargo, Bad Santa and Yellowstone spin-off 1883 as Marshal Jim Courtright.

Actress Demi Moore returns as Cami Miller, the wife of one of the most powerful men in the Texas oil industry.

Moore has starred in a host of iconic films including Ghost, The Seventh Sign, Disclosure, Indecent Proposal, A Few Good Men, GI Jane, and, most recently, The Substance.

Former model and actress Ali Larter is known for her roles in Legally Blonde, A Lot Like Love, Heroes, and the Final Destination franchise.

She is set to reprise her role as Angela Norris, the ex-wife of Tommy Norris, in Landman.

Joining the cast for the second season is the legendary actor Sam Elliott, who will be portraying Tommy’s father, TL.

Elliott, known for his roles in hit films and shows like Road House, The Ranch, Tombstone, A Star Is Born, Ghost Rider and The Big Lebowski, is expected to bring a lot of tension to Landman with many things left unsaid between the father-and-son duo.

Yellowstone fans will best remember the 81 year old from the Yellowstone prequel 1883, where he played Shea Brennan.

Actress Kayla Wallace returns as the formidable oil company lawyer Rebecca Falcone, who will stop at nothing to win.

Canadian star Wallace is best recognised for her six-season stint as Fiona Miller in When Calls The Heart, along with minor roles in The Good Doctor, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist and The Magicians.

Michelle Randolph, a relative newcomer to the entertainment industry, is also joining the Landman cast.

Having previously worked with Taylor Sheridan on the Yellowstone prequel 1923, where she played Elizabeth Strafford, Randolph will now take on the role of Ainsley Norris, the fiery daughter of Tommy and Angela.
