Katie and Bill make out in his office at Spencer Publications, pausing only to recap the events of the last 24 hours: they got married, she gave him his sword necklace back, and he gifted her a fashion house.

Bill promises to back off if he’s pressuring her and then, naturally, continues to push. Katie has to leave for work, so Bill gets in one more appeal before she goes.

 

 

Brooke’s Concerns
At Forrester, Ridge makes Brooke laugh by characterizing Bill’s move to marry Katie immediately as “desperate.” Carter walks in with an update: the new PR team is doing an amazing job. Brooke asks, “Where does that leave Katie?”In the design office, Steffy ends a phone call as her mom comes in and hugs her. She notices Taylor looks great and asks if she’s really moving on with her life.

 

 

Without Taylor ever answering Steffy’s question, they launch into a discussion on how change is inevitable. Steffy “senses” change in the air at their company. Her mother hopes she’s not stepping away. Steffy reassures her she’s not… though there needs to be some changes with Hope’s line. She’d love Thomas to come back and lead it.

 

 

Sheila wonders if Deacon thinks she pushed some boundaries… maybe Taylor thinks that too. She’s surprised he went to see Taylor after his daughter’s wedding. He explains Taylor has been so good for him. Sheila admits she got worked up, but is proud she didn’t crash the wedding and ruin it. She keeps singing Taylor’s praises, which launches a recap of their split.

When the topic of honesty comes up, Sheila states that Deacon clearly has nothing to hide… especially with Taylor. It’s clear she’s made an impact on him and continues to do so. Deacon nods and adopts a strange expression when they embrace.Katie arrives at Forrester, joining Brooke, Ridge and Carter in the office. She’s upset that Carter spoke to the outside PR team before speaking to her.

After Carter’s left, Katie again complains to Brooke and Ridge that she’s not being kept in the loop. Ridge reminds her she had her hands full with family stuff. Katie’s irked that they brought the team on without consulting her and plans to keep them. Brooke and Ridge rush off to a meeting, leaving Katie to wonder aloud, “Is it time?”

The Final Scenes
In his living room alone, Deacon flashes to Taylor saying she hopes Sheila can be everything he needs and deserves in a partner.

Ridge and Brooke return to the office after their meeting to find Katie gone. Ridge assures Brooke that her sister will be fine.

Bill’s surprised to see Katie back at Spencer so soon. She sighs, paces, and looks out the window. She reminds him of the contributions she’s made to Forrester and what it means to her. He counters that they’ve been largely over-looked. He’ll support whatever she decides, but he wants her there where she’ll never be second to the Brooke and Ridge Show ever again.

Katie admits that’s how it seems lately. She loves her sisters, but… Bill interjects, “You’re not a Forrester.” He implores her to just say the word, “Just tell me that you want it!” Katie agonizes.
