In today’s #BoldAndBeautiful recap, Carter begs Daphne to stay, Sheila turns to Li, and Steffy confronts her mother!

In Taylor’s office, Deacon coaxes her to open up about her feelings. Taylor tries to laugh this off, teasing him about getting his therapy lesson. Deacon, serious, says he cares about her.

Taylor warns about patients becoming attached to their therapist… it’s called transference. Deacon brushes this off and they launch into a

competition to see who can compliment the other more. He worries about who is supporting Taylor Hayes, the woman. “You need to find love.”

 

Bold & Beautiful Wednesday Recap: Steffy Overhears Taylor and Deacon

 

At Il Giardino, Sheila paces behind the bar and then exclaims, “Thank God you’re here!” as Li appears. For some reason, she’s the only one she can talk to about her marriage. She confides that both Deke and Taylor said things to set her spinning… or it’s what they’re not saying. They’re not happy they’re together or saying Deacon’s found the love of his life.Li gets Sheila to see that Taylor hasn’t pushed her away despite all the things she’s done. Her marriage is back on track. Why did she drop everything to come here? Sheila wrings her hands. She felt undermined by Deke today and can’t stop thinking about Taylor worrying over her impulsive behavior. It worries her too, but she concedes Taylor’s been nothing but a friend.Getting that faraway look in her eye, Sheila doesn’t think she could ever repay Taylor for what she’s done for her and Deacon. At that very moment, Deacon is telling Tay she deserves to be worshipped and that she’s beautiful and amazing.In Forrester’s main office, Carter’s stunned to hear from Steffy that Daphne’s planning to go back to Paris. Steffy’s sure her friend planned to fill him in given how she feels about him.

In the showroom, Hope hears Daphne booking a one-way flight to France and questions her. Daphne confirms she’s going home. Hope, who once would have loved to see the back of her, grills her about her reasons for leaving. It turns out she’s worried for Carter.

Daphne all but tells her to mind her business, but Hope persists, asking if she and Carter broke up. Daphne says no. Hope then suggests she’s running away from a good thing.

Up in the office, Carter’s in a bit of a frustrated panic over Daphne’s unexpected plans. Ridge urges him to do something to stop her. After he exits, Ridge rants about the situation on his friend’s behalf until Hope arrives to compare notes.

Carter finds Daphne in the showroom and closes the door. She guesses he “knows.” He confirms this and can’t understand why she’s set on returning home. They have a real chance here. “Don’t throw it away. Don’t leave.”

Daphne insists her life is in Paris. Carter won’t let her run away. They are good together and could be great. “So, stay. You won’t regret it.”

The Final Scenes
At the restaurant, Sheila thanks Li for her help again. Meanwhile, across town, Deacon continues telling Taylor how incredible she is; she deserves better than she got from Ridge.

Steffy arrives outside the door in time to hear her mother breathily tell Deacon that he’s made her see the possibility of loving someone other than Ridge. She gushes about his outstanding qualities and tells him he’s exactly the kind of man she could fall for… except he’s married. Deacon muses, “And you’re my therapist.” Taylor replies, “I think our time is up.” Touching her hair and gazing into her eyes, he adds, “Before it even began.”Steffy skedaddles up the hallway as he leaves the office, pausing for one last look back at Taylor. Once alone, Tay exhales, only to jump out of her skin when Steffy enters and slams the door. Taylor’s eyes are on stalks as her daughter demands to know what’s going on. “You and Deacon?” she exclaims. Steffy begs her mother to tell her she’s not falling for the restaurateur. “He’s Sheila’s husband!”
