In Monday’s #YR recap, Jack leaves the Abbotts in shock when he announces his plans for Jabot — plus, Cane picks a side…
Lily and Phyllis run into each other at the Athletic Club the second they get off their phones to their kids. They immediately begin feuding
as Phyllis accuses her of pitting her kids against Cane. Lily isn’t taking parenting advice from her and accuses her of being a bad influence.
Phyllis thinks Lily has been dangling a carrot before Cane and then pettily hitting him with it. How many times is she going to make him

beg to be let back into her heart? Lily shoots back that Phyllis has slithered her way into Cane’s bed and only wants him to maintain his Dumas persona because it benefits her.

Lily claims she only pities Cane now. Phyllis thinks he’s admirable. His ex-wife says she can have him. She bursts out laughing when Phyllis mocks her for being born with a silver spoon. The redhead accuses her of perpetuating anger between the kids and Cane, trying to force him to live by impossible standards, and demanding he walk away from all he’s built. Lily wishes she’d crawl back under a rock. Phyllis lists all the other men she’s made miserable.

Victor and Adam worry about what must be happening with Nick in LA when Cane shows up. “I came here to surrender,” he announces. Adam repeats that they don’t have his software, but Ashby knows that’s a lie. He’s come to offer them the empire he lost due to his hubris. If they don’t buy it now, there will be nothing left worth having. Victor suggests he’s not interested. Cane only wants his original investment back. Adam lays into him as a lost cause and says he doesn’t deserve his father as a savior. Shrugging, Victor admits he could rescue him…but it’s judgment day, and he’d rather leave him twisting in the wind. Nikki and Chelsea enter, flustered to see Ashby. As Cane exits, Victor says he’ll get back to him about his proposal.
Nikki and Adam ask if he was serious. Victor declares he’s been having a perfect day. Things are going exactly as he expected. He’s left Cane a shred of hope so he won’t realize he’s leaving him to hang himself. Once the devastation to Arabesque has run its course, they will take what they want. That makes Adam smile. His father says this will be finished once he’s ground Cane down to dust.
Cane wanders into the Athletic Club as Phyllis continues complaining to Lily that he could move on if he weren’t obsessed with her. He asks why they are fighting about him. Lily tells him he’s scraped the bottom of the barrel by teaming up with Phyllis. “You’re jealous,” Phyllis suggests. As the women trash each other, Cane eventually barks he’s heard enough. Lily is sure he’s enjoying this and declares Phyllis will be his downfall before flouncing off. Phyllis challenges Cane to finally pick a side. He insists he has, and he knows where he’s going next.
