“I’ll need a refill soon.” Nick’s storyline on #YoungAndRestless is going exactly where we think it is, isn’t it?

At home, Sally awakens to find Billy’s gone and left a note claiming to have gone for a run to clear his head. She texts him first, and then Audra, to see if she’s up and feels like talking.

On the Cane train, Phyllis and Cane return to find Nick there wanting to talk to her. She asks about his leg, but he starts ranting about what she’s doing to his family. He warns they’ll fight back and crush them before they even get started. Unbothered, Cane gets a text from Billy asking to meet and takes off. Phyllis is surprised by his departure. Nick starts laying into Phyllis.

Young & Restless Twist-o-Rama: Will Cane Give Chancellor to Billy?!

Phyllis accuses Nick of being dramatic, which enrages him. Can’t she get past her sick fantasy of teaching his dad a lesson? What about their daughter?! Phyllis says Summer will be just fine. Nick rails, “You’re not coming back from this!” He threatens to tell Summer every detail of what she’s done. Cane is going down hard and so is she.

Phyllis informs Nick they’ve already won. All of his insults won’t change that… they’re taking over Newman. Nick complains that he would do anything for her and she’s stabbing him in the back. This isn’t a win… it’s a loss. “You’re going to lose everything, starting with your family.”Hitting back, Phyllis says she’s been drowning this past year and the help Nick offered was on his terms. He wants to control her! She needed someone who sees her potential. She tears up over everything Victor’s done to her. After everything she’s been through, especially this last year, she needs a win.

When Phyllis claims this is karma for his dad, Nick reminds her they previously teamed up together. Phyllis argues that Victor proved he couldn’t be trusted. Nick sneers about her trusting Cane, who took off for a meeting she didn’t know about. What she’s doing isn’t right! The Newmans are her extended family! Is she so blinded by ego and greed that she’s prepared to go through life without family or friends?

Phyllis laughs… she has no friends. Success will be her only friend. Nick nearly collapses and she tries to help him. He flings her off of him and tells her she can stop this now… for his kids. She refuses. Nick vows to grind her and her punk partner Cane into dust.At Society, Sally meets Audra, who updates her that she’s decided the Newman brat, Claire, is no longer worth her trouble. Sally’s surprised. Shifting gears, Audra asks what Billy’s done this time. Sally can’t shake the feeling he’s not being honest with her… yet again.

Audra asks if Billy is back to his old obsessions. Sally confides that he heard Phyllis and Cane talking about taking over Newman and it triggered him. He finally admitted he was jealous. Audra muses that the revenge bug seems alive and well. Sally’s not convinced his destructive impulses are under control.

Audra fantasizes abou getting to run Newman and seeing Victor go down. Sally complains about Billy putting on a charm offensive. Audra concedes that could suggest guilt. Sally warns if he goes through with this, there won’t be any forgiveness. She cries, “I want to trust him.” She’s constantly waiting for the “gotcha” moment. Audra’s sorry, but questions if Billy got Chancellor would it really be that bad for her? “Would you suddenly love him any less?”At Crimson Lights, Cane meets with Billy, who is sure Ashby has a warning for him… or an offer. He asks if it’s true they’re going after Newman. Cane admits the attack has been executed. He and Phyllis practically own Newman. Billy admits he’s jealous. Cane tells him Chancellor will soon be in his possession. Is he still interested?

Cane explains it would be a peace offering. He knows Billy took a hard hit when Jill sold Chancellor to Victor. He didn’t deserve it. He knows what it would mean for him to regain control. “If you still want it, it’s yours.”

Cane says he’s welcome to turn him down. He has a day or two to think about it. Billy asks if he’ll go after it regardless. Cane will control all of it, including Newman Media. Billy notes it will also be under Phyllis’ control. As they’re shaking hands, Sally arrives.

Billy joins her, and Sally muses that things looked cozy between him and Cane. She asks if the meeting was planned. Billy tells her Cane wanted to meet, noting she was sleeping when he left. Tense, Sally asks for a straight answer… he said he was going for a run. She then asks what they talked about.
