David unearthed Adrian’s name in an old case file, discovering he had once posted bail for Samantha while she was pregnant. Summoned to Yabbie Creek Police Station, Adrian admitted he had always believed he was Cohen’s father, though Samantha cruelly denied it before walking out when Cohen was just three months old.

The plan was to keep Adrian away until DNA results confirmed the truth, but he couldn’t resist. Spotting Roo and Cohen at the surf club, Adrian introduced himself. Though the meeting confused Cohen, subsequent tests confirmed Adrian’s paternity. Desperate, Roo went to Yabbie Creek Police Station to ask for Adrian’s address. David refused, citing protocol, and Cash reluctantly backed him up, though privately admitted he disagreed.
