A decade after her heartbreaking diagnosis, former Home and Away star Tessa James has shared the happiest update of her life — she is officially cancer-free.

The 33-year-old actress, who portrayed Nicole Franklin on the long-running Seven Network drama from 2008 to 2011, revealed the milestone in an emotional Instagram post this week, marking ten years since her treatment began.

“Ten Years Ago Today…”

Posting a series of throwback photos from her chemotherapy journey, Tessa reflected on her experience with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the illness she was diagnosed with in 2014.

“Ten years ago today I underwent six months of chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma,” she wrote. “Today, I’m proud to say that I’m cancer-free, with four beautiful, healthy kids. Grateful for this journey and everything that came with it.”

Husband Nate Myles’ Touching Tribute

Tessa’s husband, former NRL player Nate Myles, also took to social media to honour his wife’s courage. In a heartfelt message to fans, he praised her strength, writing, “She fought so hard. Watching her battle this with such grace and resilience changed my life forever. We’re beyond grateful for every day we get together.”

The couple married in 2011 and are parents to four children — Saynt, 6, Jaguar, 3, London, 2, and a baby born quietly last year.

Tessa has been open over the years about the emotional toll of her diagnosis and recovery. In past interviews, she described the experience as both humbling and transformative.
