But that’s exactly what Eva Price does in upcoming episodes, as new Coronation Street spoilers reveal the queen of Weatherfield is hiding a bombshell secret that could shatter her relationship with Ben Driscoll.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, things could turn truly explosive if monster-in-law Maggie uncovers the truth.

Since Eva’s dramatic return to the cobbles as the Rovers’ new landlady, her hopes of a happy, uncomplicated life with Ben have been relentlessly sabotaged by his icy, controlling mother. Maggie has made her disapproval painfully clear, delivering cutting remarks and cold stares that leave Eva constantly on edge.

But Maggie Driscoll is no ordinary mother-in-law. A special episode has already revealed she’s capable of going to dangerous lengths to protect her family — and now she may finally have a reason to turn her full attention on Eva.

When Susie expresses hopes for a baby sibling, Ben is quietly enthusiastic, but Eva is visibly shaken.
