Ethan Browne, the Australian actor best known for playing Tane Parata on the popular soap opera Home and Away, has issued an urgent public warning to fans regarding a surge in fake social media profiles impersonating him.

The actor took to his official channels to caution fans against interacting with accounts that claim to be him, particularly those sending private messages. Browne emphasized that he would never reach out to fans privately and stressed that these accounts are sophisticated scams.

“Please protect yourselves and don’t message anyone who claims to be me,” Browne posted, adding: “THEY ARE ALL SCAMS!”
