Emmerdale’s April Windsor and Dylan Penders put their plan to escape the village and run away from evil Ray Walters with a bag of stolen

cash into action tonight. But their attempt to start a new life away from their awful situation only ends up making things worse. Tonight’s

episode began with April having second thoughts, not wanting to devastate her family after last time, but Dylan convinced her, telling them that she can tell her loved ones where she is once they’re out of danger.

 

 

Dylan went to Paddy Kirk’s and had an emotional conversation. He told him: “You’ve been more of a dad to me than my real dad ever was.” But he stopped short of revealing why he’s going.

April had a similar conversation with Marlon Dingle in the café, apologising for everything she put him through and that she was glad to have him as a dad.

 

 

She sneakily looked at her phone when Dylan text her that the bus was in 10 minutes.

At the bus stop, the two agreed that they were ready to go, even though they knew they could never come back.

Meanwhile, Ray overheard Paddy and Marlon talking about their conversations while playing pool at HOP and left Dylan a voicemail telling him to call back immediately.

 

 

While waiting for a bus transfer on the way to Manchester, April’s phone kept buzzing with calls from Ray. Dylan told her to ignore it and block the dealer, as he had already done.

Instead, April opened a video Ray had sent her. In it, he threatened her family and Paddy if they didn’t tell him where they were.

“See you soon, and I hope you haven’t spent all my cash yet,” he said.

Dylan insisted they continue running, but April wouldn’t let her family get hurt.

Ray soon turned up. He took his money back and demanded Dylan get in his car and that April does whatever her next client wants tomorrow. As the two drove off, April had a devastated look on her face.
