Emmerdale’s Danny Miller accidentally gives away Aaron’s future – ahead of explosive Corriedale special
Emmerdale’s Danny Miller has shed some light on the future of his character, Aaron Dingle, albeit by accident. Joining Talk Sport for an
interview, the actor, who is due to appear in the Corriedale crossover on Monday, 5 January, may have unknowingly revealed a spoiler (via The Sun).
After Miller was asked about his contract on the soap, the TV star replied: “Yeah [my contract is] until next year, but anything can happen.”
Realising that his comments could confirm that Aaron does not die in the crossover, which will see several characters involved in a multi-vehicle collision, Miller began to panic. “Yeah. I just suddenly realised I probably shouldn’t have said that so I don’t really know what to do from here!” he noted.
With just under a month until the hour-long Corriedale episode airs, fans have begun wondering who will die and who will survive the collision. Currently, a trailer for the crossover has been released, as well as a full cast list.
From Coronation Street, fans can expect to see several fan favourite characters, including: Abi Webster, Asha Alahan, Becky Swain, Betsy Swain, Billy Mayhew, Carl Webster, Carla Connor, Cassie Plummer, David Platt, Debbie Webster, James Bailey, Jodie, Ken Barlow, Kevin Webster, Kit Green, Lisa Swain, Ronnie Bailey, Sarah Platt, Shona Platt, Steve Mcdonald, Summer Spellman, Theo Silverton, Tim Metcalfe, Todd Grimsham and Tracy Mcdonald.
As for the Emmerdale side of things, Aaron Dingle, Cain Dingle, Charity Dingle, Chas Dingle, Eric Pollard, Jacob Gallagher, Jai Sharma, Joe Tate, John Sugden, Liam Cavanagh, Mackenzie Boyd, Moira Dingle, Ray Walters, Robert Sugden, Sarah Sugden and Victoria Sugden, are all confirmed to appear in the crossover.
“Corriedale is just the start of the drama as the aftermath of the crash gives rise to fear, murderous intent, death, destruction, closely-guarded secrets and lies,” reads the logline for the special. “Life in Emmerdale and Weatherfield will never be the same again!”
Ahead of the episode’s premiere, ITV Executive Producer for Continuing Drama, Iain Macleod, said: “As a soap fan myself, I think my head is going to explode when the episode airs next year. It will be mind-blowing, historical and unmissable.”
