Emmerdale legend left to die in horror car crash – with major character behind the wheel
It’s becoming like the War of The Roses in Emmerdale as the Kings continue to go up against the Tates.
The war began when Dawn’s son walloped Nicola’s son seemingly for no reason. Nicola immediately went into tiger mum mode to protect her son, only to learn it was actually his fault.

He had tricked Clemmie into sending him an indecent image, which he then shared on, and her brother found out and smacked him.
The police were called and everything got very nasty.

He had tricked Clemmie into sending him an indecent image, which he then shared on, and her brother found out and smacked him.
The police were called and everything got very nasty.
But Joe is set for some rather upsetting news on the case, and an upset Joe is not fun for anyone. Deadly, even.
He learns that the police won’t take the case any further, which does not a happy or rational Joe make – he is used to getting his way, and part of this is all about him proving that he’s a better dad than Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle), which he is determined to do.
Joe is angry, seething angry. Driving while distracted is as bad as driving tired, and Joe does just that – takes his mega wheels out for a spin while his mind is anywhere but on the road.
As he speeds through the country lanes thinking about the injustice of Clemmie’s case, he makes a potentially fatal move – he hits someone.
He goes to view the scene, with the full intent in driving off, and realises his victim is Jimmy King (Nick Miles). Now he hates the guy, but he doesn’t wish him dead, so this is a less-than-ideal situation.
Equally, Joe doesn’t want to take the rap for hitting him and decides it would be best to scarper.
