Emmerdale horror ahead for Cain and Moira in prison story

Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle makes a shocking discovery when he pays a visit to his wife Moira in prison next week. He’s worried sick when it becomes clear that Moira is already facing a hellish time behind bars.

Next week’s episodes see Moira arrested and charged with the murders of Anya and Celia, after two bodies are found on her land. While viewers know that Moira is entirely innocent, the case against her looks strong because Celia was framing her for various crimes late last year.

Cain and the reeling Dingle clan concoct a plan to clear Moira’s name, but that’s going to be easier said than done.

Celia certainly knew what she was doing when she had Anya buried at Butler’s Farm in Moira’s blanket. The scheming villain gloated to Ray at the time that if the body was ever found, the real criminals could walk free.

Of course, Celia then ended up in the same shallow grave, having been stabbed to death by Ray. This was shortly before her son was bumped off by Bear Wolf.

In new scenes, Cain goes to visit Moira in prison to reassure her they’re doing everything they can to get her out – but he’s shocked at the state of his worried wife…

“Her fellow inmates clearly think she’s guilty and have already turned on her. Cain is concerned for her welfare and feels utterly powerless – when will this ordeal be over?”

DS Walsh is currently leading the investigation against Moira. She was initially pursuing Moira amid suspicions of fraud and human trafficking, as Celia was setting up Moira for trouble before she died.

This week’s episodes see the bodies of Anya and Celia found following a tip-off from Ruby Miligan, who’s left suspicious after some strange interactions with Bear.

With many of the villagers knowing Moira well, are they prepared to help fight her corner in the months ahead? Or will people start to turn against her?

Emmerdale’s Graham Foster finally has someone in his corner tonight – as Dawn Fletcher encourages Joe Tate to give his father figure a chance. Graham faced a frosty reception when he made a surprise appearance at Home Farm this week, but could tensions start to ease in the weeks ahead?

Graham recently returned to the village to support his ex-partner Rhona Goskirk with the crisis surrounding her stepdaughter April Windsor. However, he’s since made it clear that he wants to stick around for someone else entirely – Joe.

Joe and Graham used to be thick as thieves at Home Farm, although there weren’t too many signs of loyalty last night when Joe reported Graham to the police for faking his own death.

In tonight’s episode, this mini-crisis for Graham is quickly resolved. He initially faces some stern questioning from DC Chen over his years of deception – and whether he returned to kill Ray Walters.
