EastEnders spoilers tease unexpected new couple and revenge sparks dark consequences
EastEnders is lining up some big moments next week, with new faces, the fallout to Christmas and an ordeal for Ravi Gulati confirmed in new spoilers.
After the events of Christmas week, one family continues to struggle across January. Following Chrissie Watts’ return, Anthony Trueman’s demise and Zoe Slater’s arrest, the Slaters are in turmoil and Kat is on a mission to save her daughter.

Meanwhile, Phil and Julie take Nigel to visit a care home where the senior nurse shows them how they care for people living with dementia. When Nigel becomes distressed, Phil and Julie decide to take him home and continue their search there.
Later in the week, Nigel and Phil share a warm moment, as Nigel talks about how much he’d love to go to the beach – amid Phil and Julie arguing over what is best for Nigel. Soon, Julie prepares to leave for Scotland to sell her and Nigel’s family home to fund his care, but will they come to an agreement?
Elsewhere next week, Kathy and Ian are left furious as they realise Elaine has been badmouthing the café to customers, while also serving breakfast at Peacock Palace with an offer on, no doubt trying to stay their regulars. Away from this drama, a troubled Harry continues to push forward with his revenge plan against Ravi after his ordeal, but Nicola advises him to wait for the right time to strike.
As he ignores her and plans action, Nicola steps in to stop him using violence, sharing that she has a plan that will ensure Ravi pays for what he did. As Ravi enjoys a drink at the club, Nicola spikes his drink with drugs with dire consequences.
Ravi staggers around outside where Harry steers him towards The Arches. Harry is forced to leave when oblivious Billy interrupts him, with Ravi left on his own as the hallucinations get worse.
With Ravi frightened, he escapes The Arches just as Priya, Vinny and Nugget worriedly search for him. Soon Ravi lashes out, leading to a terrible incident. Elsewhere next week, Linda is conflicted about attending her school reunion.
After some words of encouragement she agrees to go with pal Honey accompanying her. When Honey poses as ‘Bea’, they’re shocked when the real Bea is already inside.
As reveals what Linda was like back in their school days, Linda gets defensive as she’s painted in an unflattering light. Soon, Linda and Honey leave, but Honey accidentally picks up Bea’s bag.
Back in Walford, Linda is given pause for thought and decides to apologise to Bea for her past behaviour so she and Honey head to the address they’ve found in her handbag. Also next week, Sam confides in Alfie ahead of the lumpectomy operation as a date comes through.
Gina moves in with Penny, and she soon admits she saw Penny and Vinny together on New Year’s Eve. Penny insists it was a one-off, but could a new romance be blossoming?
