EastEnders confirms traumatic incident for Nugget as Ravi’s guilt escalates

EastEnders’ Ravi Gulati’s guilt intensifies next week when Nugget struggles in the aftermath of being attacked – not realising his own

father dished out the beating while in a drug-induced state. How long can Ravi hide the truth from his son, and what repercussions could there be for Nugget in the aftermath of the incident?

EastEnders confirms traumatic incident for Nugget as Ravi's guilt escalates

“This is a living nightmare for Ravi,” says our EastEnders insider. “He’s full of remorse after he put Nugget in hospital, even though he didn’t know what he was doing at the time. The more Ravi tries to make this right, the worse it seems to get…”

Ravi was drugged by Nicola, who took revenge on him for what he put her son Harry through. Under the influence, intoxicated Ravi began hallucinating and accidentally lashed out at an unsuspecting Nugget, causing serious harm to his son.

Nugget has no idea who attacked him, but when Ravi realised he was responsible he shared his horror with Priya, and the pair have vowed to keep their boy in the dark. Recovering from his injuries, Nugget has been discharged and his parents are doing their best to carry on as normal.

Priya forces father and son to spend as much time together as possible, and suggests Nugget move into Ravi’s flat. However, Ravi’s guilty conscience starts getting the better of him, leaving Nugget confused at his weird behaviour.

Nugget innocently asks his dad why he didn’t visit him while he was in hospital, triggering a snippy response from moody Ravi which causes a strained atmosphere between the pair.

Priya steps in to diffuse the tension, but it’s clear Ravi is close to cracking as he blames himself for putting his child’s life in danger.

Forgetting what happened proves to be easier said than done for Nugget, leaving Ravi even more mortified at the misery he’s caused.

Suki becomes concerned for her stepson, and she and Eve try to support him and Priya – but nobody is aware just how much Ravi is spiralling. Could this eventually make the whole clan crumble?
