Shippers were probably thrilled to see in this week’s spoilers that Elizabeth and Jason actually have scenes together. In the Wednesday, Jan. 14, episode, Jake’s parents compare notes — no doubt about the drama that’s swirling around Willow’s trial for gunning down the then-estranged fiancé that she eventually married. If she’s found not guilty of shooting now-husband Drew, Stone Cold has to know that ADA Turner will go after Michael next, and he can’t have that!
Thus far, Liz has been a staunch supporter of Willow’s. But if she catches wind of the damning evidence that Trina and Kai just dropped on the accused’s attorney, Alexis, that could change in a heartbeat!
Anyway, that’s all the good news, at least for Team “Liason.” Steve Burton and Rebecca Herbst have scenes together. The bad news is that there’s no hint of that old spark in the teasers. In fact, despite Brad’s imminent plea with Jason to stay away from Britt, he’s going to take the back-from-the-dead doc out on a good old-fashioned date.
