History, it would seem, is repeating. Three years after wrapping his General Hospital stint as supervillain Peter August, aka Henrik Faison, Wes Ramsey is returning to daytime in a role that we would’ve bet was gone to good.

As teased in the Days of Our Lives winter promo that just dropped (watch it here), the actor is heading back to Salem as Owen Kent. “Who’s that?” you ask. Eh, it’s understandable if you don’t remember. It was a whopping 16 years ago that he made his mark on the soap.

 

 

Here’s what you need to know: Kiriakis gardener Owen was happily pruning bushes when Victor kidnapped Stefano. In response, EJ was all like, “Well, in that case, hey, gardener, you kidnap Stephanie!” He did so and held her prisoner in the morgue that his father ran.

 

 

But this was no run-of-the-mill, tit-for-tat abduction — not in the end, anyway. While Owen was holding Stephanie hostage, the off-kilter young man became fixated on her… and, it would appear, his “interest” has not diminished in the years since. In the promo, we see Steve and Brady searching for an MIA Stephanie with her father grabbing Owen and demanding to know where she is.
