Courtney Hope, who plays Sally Spectra on The Young and the Restless, recently opened up about whether an intense New Year’s Eve

moment between Sally and Adam could make them reconcile. She further revealed where Sally’s feelings for Adam currently stand,

following the heartbreak. For those unfamiliar, Adam cheated on Sally with Chelsea, which led to their split.

 

 

In a conversation with Soaps.com, Hope opened up about Sally’s feelings for Adam, revealing that she never truly stopped loving him. She also doesn’t see a reason why Sally could erase the feelings for him, given that he was the one who cheated on her.

Reflecting on her character’s heartbreak, she said, “[Sally was] so gutted and heartbroken. I think for the longest time she was like, ‘This is my person. This is who I’m going to be with. This is who I’m sacrificing for and investing in.’”

While she acknowledges Sally’s efforts to move on and change, she still feels that there’s a part of her that has not forgotten about her bond with Adam. She said, “For the most part, Sally has definitely evolved, but I think there definitely is a part of her that always knows what they had together. She knows how special their relationship was. And even though she knew that he continued to love Chelsea through all of it, I think she still will die on the hill that they had something so special and unique.”

At present, Adam’s contribution to Victor’s line isn’t sitting well with Chelsea, which is gradually affecting their bond. Amid the chaos, the ex-angle is expected to be introduced in the storyline this New Year’s Eve.
