With Carla Connor seemingly gone on holiday to Lanzarote for Christmas, Becky has wasted no time in trying to win Lisa back.

And in today’s episode that involved swooping in on a low moment and giving her a neck rub.

Things took a turn and Becky and Lisa went to bed and properly reunited after everything that had happened.

However after things developed, Becky was hopeful that she had won Lisa back for good – but it wasn’t to be.

“I still love Carla,” said Lisa, leaving Becky fuming.

And as The Sun revealed previously, Becky was hiding a horrifying secret – a kidnapped Carla tied and bound in her closet.

Kicking Carla unconscious, Becky told her: “Go back into the closet, Carla”.

The twist has left viewers furious with one writing: “Becky actually makes me feel physically sick. The sooner she gets written out the better.”

A second said: “Yeah, this is really dragging now. Also when Becky started kissing Lisa and she caved 🤮🤮 It felt predatory. It was so uncomfortable.”

Another added: “As soon as I thought this story couldn’t get any more ridiculous.

“With every step forward this show has taken recently (and there has been many significant improvements) it seems like this story is dragging it 2 steps back.”

Sadly for fans, Becky actress Amy Cudden has teased that her character will get even worse in the coming weeks.

She told The Sun: “I can tease that I’m up to no good but it won’t unfold the way you think it will.

“You can see me reach peak villain.”
