Coronation Street’s Jodie to receive two huge warnings over Carl
Coronation Street newcomer Jodie is set to be warned off Carl Webster as romance appears to blossom. Fans of the ITV soap first met
Jodie, Shona Platt’s sister, during the epic Corriedale crossover episode when she was tied up in the back of a van, which Emmerdale’s Graham Foster was driving.

She then reunited with her estranged sister, making her way to Weatherfield and keeping an eye on Shona and her husband David after they welcomed their first child.
After Jodie arrived in Weatherfield, Carl couldn’t help but flirt with the mysterious new resident while she worked in the cafe.
They wasted no time in getting to know each other, all while Carl’s ex Abi Franklin watched on from a distance.
In scenes set to air next week, Abi drops in on Jodie at No.8 and warns her that Carl is bad news and to steer well clear.
But it isn’t just Abi stirring the pot. Shona agrees with Abi and also warns Jodie that he isn’t to be trusted after explaining that he cheated on Abi with James Bailey.
Carl, unaware of the warnings, arrives at the cafe and tries to turn on the charm with Jodie. How will she react now that this information has come to light?
“Abi knows from bitter experience that Carl isn’t to be trusted,” our Corrie source reminds us. “She blew up her entire life with Kevin to be with Carl, and ended up with nothing in return when his true colours were revealed!
“Shona’s also hugely protective over her sister now that Jodie is in town, so doesn’t want her to make a terrible mistake. But is Jodie really prepared to listen?”
Coronation Street’s Megan Walsh continues to manipulate Daniel Osbourne, as he started suspecting something after noticing student Will Driscoll’s behaviour towards her.
Megan has been grooming Will but keeps up appearances by entertaining a relationship with Daniel, who started falling for her. In tonight’s (22 January) scenes, Megan turned down Daniel’s proposal to go for a spa weekend as an upset Will was within earshot.
At school, Will insisted Megan dump Daniel, to which she replied: “I promise, as soon as I have a chance, I’ll ask him for some space.”
Daniel spotted Will and Megan involved in a whispery conversation and called his girlfriend over to “rescue” her.
