Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, 49, praises ‘warrior’ daughter as she welcomes fourth grandchild

Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, 49, was full of the festive spirit as she announced the birth of her fourth grandchild in an adorable post on Christmas Day.
The Michelle Connor star took to Instagram to share the happy news, praising daughter Emilie and son-in-law Mikey in the heartfelt caption.
‘Well what a wonderful Christmas gift this is!!’ Kym wrote, alongside a carousel of pictures of the new-born and his siblings.
Revealing the baby’s name, she continued: ‘Welcome to the world Bobby Saint Mykola Hoszowskyj!!! He’s so beautiful! So so proud of my girl Emilie she is a warrior!! And of my son in law Mikey for being her rock today! We are all in love!! Merry Christmas everyone.’
Kym’s followers were quick to take to the comments of the post to share their congratulations, including former Hear’Say band member Danny Foster, who left a red love heart emoji.
‘What a beautiful Christmas gift. Congratulations to you all,’ another follower wrote, while a third added: ‘Huge congratulations to you all.’

Responding to one comment, Kym gave further details about Bobby’s birth, writing: ‘he was 7lb 6oz she had a very quick birth. Got in the hospital at 10.25 and he was here at 10.35 hahah’.
Waterloo Road star Kym is already grandmother – or ‘Yaya’ – to Emilie’s son Teddy and step-daughter Polly, as well as son David’s son, Clay.
Kym is perhaps best known to soap fans for her role as Michelle Connor in Corrie, but since her exit in 2019 she has turned her hand to other roles, including Nicky Walters in BBC school-based drama Waterloo Road.

Most recently, she appeared in Channel 5 thriller The Imposter, alongside Neighbours icon Jackie Woodburne and singer Dannii Minogue. Filming for the series took place in Melbourne, Australia.
